"Jvaunats", or "tact", is a highly praised virtue among the Géarthçins, and so euphemism and circumlocution reign supreme. That said, honesty is also cool, and political correctness is kind of a weird concept for them. Well-wishing is taken in the spirit in which it is given, and everyone understands that people are in the throes of exuberance when their own festival comes 'round, so no one would take umbrage at a "Merry Christmas", a "Happy Hannukah", or a "Gongxi Facai". Normally, such exhortations are greeted in kind, regardless of holiday persuasion. Sensitive types might respond with "And greetings to you as well.", but no one would launch into a public diatribe (highly frowned upon) about "It's not my holiday!" So, to those kicking in the holiday moment tonight: Söi Rhanukats Techetneket la Kfazhal Nöi! (Happy Hannukah) Kou
