I was thinking of suggesting that, actually. I need an excuse to polish Rixuli. Here's my bit, guessing pronunciations from language-names, in no particular order: Note: Any two consonants not explicitly separated by a vowel actually have a voiceless schwa in between. This can only occur between two voiceless consonants; others gain a voiced schwa instead. O isn't permitted to end words, because it sounds too much like a lot of verbal aspects, so that gains an -a as well. X is /S/, c is /tS/, and I still need a symbol for voiced x. Hmm. Those consonants that are in English dentals are retroflex; Rixuli doesn't like the crunchy sound of dentals. YHL, I hope you don't mind my borrowing your list. Afar : Avara or Auara Akte : Akte Boreanesian : Voreanesiana Brithenig : Varitenigi Hanky Castilian : Hanaki Casatiliana Hangkerimian : Hanagakerimiana, or perhaps Hanakerimiana Ini : Ini Kash : Kaxa (Hey, this looks really neat spelled 'Kxa', but Rixuli wouldn't devoice a vowel.) Kerno : Keranoa Lyanjen : Lianajene Lingua Fracta : Linagua Farakta Lingua Franca : Linagua Faranaka Moskian : Mosakiana Mungayöd : Munagaiodoa or Munaiodoa New Cartagenian : Niu (or Nu, depending on the sound of New) Karatageniana Numidian : Numidiana Nur-Ellen : Nuru-Elene or Nurelene, depending on if the word-separation's pronounced Punic : Vunika, Viunika perchance Rokbeigalmki : Rokabeigalamaki (That gained a good load of syllables.) Saalangal : Saalanagal or Saalanal Skerre : Sakere Talarian : Talariana Tech : Teka or Teca, 'pending on if that ch is a glottal stop or something similar, or a tS. Telek : Teleke Tepa : Teva Tokana : Tokana (On the same note as Utakassi, I want to call this Dogana... voicedness is good. Maybe I just dislike that T-k thing going on here.) Vaiysi : Vaiisi Vivo : Vivoa Utakassí : Utakasi (I'm tempted to call this Udagasi; Rixuli likes its voiced consonants.) Ylank : Ilanaka --- Shreyas Sampat "Ilahu ueravaga xava suyukinana.
