I'm not sure what your question is, exactly. The English forms are
grammatically correct. I'm not sure what you mean by "explain what they
mean". Are there some particular phrases you have a problem with?

While correct, it sounds slightly funny, "And thought I heard some"
would be more natural, but if it's a song, that wouldn't fit, so your
form would be acceptable.
