I, too, LOVED that metaphore. When I saw that I was like *wow* you know, like COOL! I'd REALLY like to know the source of that metaphore. Most of my langs are sadly lacking in intriguing metaphores, which I don't understand since I LOVE metaphores. I think the problem is that I don't have enough detail to my cultures yet for the metaphores to spring naturally from the back ground. The few metaphores I *do* have have mostly resulted from writing myths and folk tales in my langs or cultures, which then also provide literary references for the language!!
