    While you said that writing stuff is slow, I think it's the best way to
go, if you really don't like trnanslating from other languages.  I like doing
that (I'm doing The Tempest right now), because it forces you to deal with
that languages metaphors, and it gets you to think about how you're going to
express that in your language.  Take (shoot!  I forgot your name...  I'm
sorry!) the fellow who just showed his translation of "To Be or Not to Be".
For that phrase "that's the rub" he made "that's the thorn in the fig".
That's wonderful!  And certainly ten times better than translating: that
(thing) to be (3s) (def) rub (n).  That's why I like translation; I think it
helps rather than hinders.  But this is my opinion.  I have a very
rudimentary knowledge of Megdevi, anyway.  I just know basic verbs and all
the grammar.
