Well, when I arrived on the scene I was even younger. But you can't
expect a French teacher to know what 'transitive' means. It's not an
important concept in Accusative systems such as French.
But, I don't know if the system is that bad. Over here, we're going
through the yearly ritual of disregarding the hard work of teenagers
across the country. Yes. Exam results season. It improves, exams must
be getting easier. But anyway.
We haven't done bits of the grammar. Things like the Subjunctive and
the Preterite tense. We've covered most of it, though.
