Although I've never elaborated the idea, I assume the Galactic Union has some kind of auxlang used to communicate with computers aboard and between its spacecraft. In a preliminary way, I envision it as something like Madjal. One and two syll. words, probably with logical operators, minimal grammar per se; lots of navigational terms etc. Or maybe I could adapt Klingon :-))) A similar idea, also not off the drawing board, is the symbolic system the Kash use to notate their telepathic communications with the Cousins (analogue: Koko the gorilla and ASL).

Djokhane pen fadjo khi pulam

Marie pen temin karkam. (I originally put in the IPA for those proper names, probably in violation of the rules. So figure it out yourselves.)
