I think Yoon Ha might be know the Chinese character
for Japn "aoi" (if you can see this ---> Â)
But there also exists the word "midori" in Japn (the
Chinese character I believe can also me "affinity"
---> Î), which means a vibrant green, while "blue"
can be also described by the loan katakana word
"buruu" from English. Then, you've got other colors
like "kon" referring to "navy blue", etc. I try to
not use "aoi" too much, as it is quite vague! The
latter words may be newer Jpn words which indicate the
color better... for all that's worth!
