It would make the Lunar Settlers more isolated form Earth... and would ma= ybe undergo some physical changes... But there's gravity in the moon (1/6g o= r somthing like that) so it would not be as hard as for astronauts falling = in orbits around the Earth.

Even hours could be named after continents... After communications wouldn't be so hard, People living in the moon would probably use the time mesurement systems than in Earth, probably USA or E= U or wathever nation go and settler the moon, but the way it would be represented would be different. Actually the Earth woud be a giant clock, at least when there is no "new" Earth. Earth phases would be coordinated with moon phases: new Earth wit= h full Moon and vice versa. Earth would stay in the same position. The su= n would be visible some 15 days of 29 or 30. When Earth is "new" the Sun would be close, so the natural compass/clock would not be visible. And, when some settler would come to Earth, must be preparing into a artificial gravity (inertial) chamber and making excersices.
