But still, one-sixth gravity would be so small, that in all probability,
the bones and muscles would weaken too much to return. When exposed to
zero gravity (and the same probably applies to low gravity), the bones
lose calcium. Those *born* on the Moon would probably be even worse
off, for them the maximum gravity tolerable might be somewhere around a
third of a gee or so.

That would be an interesting idea, "We'll eat at Australia-time"

The whole moon would probably use the same time, i.e., there'd be no
time zones. There'd be no need. There'd be no justification to base
time on the Sun, since it would have a 29-1/2 day "day", unless they
revolted against Earth and wanted to be more different, they might base
their day on 1/30 of the Lunar "day", making a slightly shorter day.

Maybe. There's a limit to how much the body can adjust. Maybe people
could slowly acclimate themselves to Earth gravity, but if so, it would
take so long that it would be impractical, IMO. Also, the Earth might
serve as a calendar, if they were to set up their own time-system. Just
as some societies on Earth have a Lunar calendar, they'd have a Terran
calendar!
