Re: OBNatlang: German Pronunciation

I'm new to this list, Miekko (or Markus Miekk-oja) suggested me to read
this, too, and so I subscribed this mailinglist. Usually my home regarding
conlang is www.spinoff.com/zbb, The Zompist Bulletin Board. I don't know if
posting like this works because I'm using a freemail mailer, and not like
I'm used to, MS Outlook Express. If someone is interested, my name is
Carsten Becker, I come from Germany (Northern Hesse), I am male, my date of
birth is August 26th, 1986, so I became 17 years old just yesterday. I'm
visiting a grammar school and when the summer holidays are over next
monday, I'm in grade 11 - the first grade of three in the so-
called "Oberstufe". I'm fairly new in linguistics, but I'm learning. My

Now back to the topic: "Ihnen" is pronounced [i:n@n]. And I tend to harden
voicless sounds at the end of words, so [ta:k] instead of [ta:g]. So the
stereotype grew that Germans are unaple to pronounce foicet sounts at the
ent off fords :) To be honest, it's really difficult to pronounce voiced
sounds at the end of words. So I say rather [Is] than [Iz]. If "ihnen"
would really be pronounced [ajn@n], it would be written "einen" or "ainen".
But "einen" means "one" (not the number but the demonstrative pronoun)
