Ah. With certain exceptions such as a "Kaiser roll", the larger breads which
are used for sandwiches are all "buns" over here, whereas the archetypical
sweet variety is commonly called a "cinnamon roll". By itself, the word
"bun" conjures up images of a the thing hamburgers go on for me, while the
word "roll" makes me think of dinner rolls.
