Yes. I can agree with that sort of thing. Similar
to the Romanceconlang and Celticonlang lists; and
to the old Sessiwn Kemres that discussed
Brithenig and Kemr.

I'd rather not see Conlang too splintered,
though. Especially if there are to be two or more
splinter groups discussing essentially the same
general topic ranges!
