Just curious, how do people say 'Iraq'? I say [ir\ak]. And 'Qatar'? I say
[k@'tar\]. People on CNN say [air\&k] or [ir\&k] and [k&tar\], and you have
to wonder, why hasn't anyone ever bothered to correct them?
