I've tried all sorts of methods for vocabulary building, but there really
aren't any shortcuts that I've found. The methods generally fall into two
categories: creating new words as necessary, or compiling long lists of
words in particular categories, which may never end up being used at all.
I've tried random and semi-random methods, but the results weren't very
satisfying, and I've gone back to creating each word by hand. For the =
last
five years or so, I've used Microsoft Word to keep track of the =
vocabulary.
