Gah! You're right. Encoding problems my end. Normally, I use 8859-15,
since it's pretty general purpose. Opera ordinarily suggests the
appropriate encoding if you go outside the characters in the default
encoding (e.g. if you only use Latin and Russian, it'll suggest 8859-5 or
whatever). In that case, it didn't, and I guess I didn't notice that it
hadn't. I'll try again. I've set my default encoding to UTF-8, which I
should have done back when the listserv was upgraded, but it must have
slipped my mind.
