Wheeee! =D What could be nice about a break in translation
exercises, anyway?

Obrenje:

    Tash doljue dzenzae.
    /taS dOl'ju: dZ@n'za:/
    not bathe:PST:3i yesterday

Note: Obrenje has two distinct words for "to bathe/submerge
something" (transitive) and "to bathe" (intr.), but
they both have the same past forms, so the distinction
is lost in this example. =P

Jovian:

    Nau baenava here.
    [no bE'na:v@ he:r]
    not bathe:PST:3s yesterday

Obrenje:

not:3e PRE such narrow this road

Jovian:

Jovian:

Note: |Midsosu| is from Latin |invidiosus|.

Obrenje:

Cinta mo tse tash ze pitsu ryndzhadare.
    /'sinta mO tS# taS Z@ 'pitsM ,ryndZa'da:r/
    favorable be:3e THAT not PER:1:OBJ sting:PST:3e hornet

Note: The word for hornet is a fusion of |rynte zhadar|,
           "dragon wasp".

Jovian:

    Eresmonde, cabrone nau me pungiva.
    [erez'mAnd ka'bro:n nom puN'gi:v@]

Note: |Eresmonde| is my first borrowing from French. Whee!

Obrenje:

    Eu tas e vaj.
    /Ew tas E vaj/
    CNJ not:3e PER:3i:OBJ who?

    Literally: "Who would not_do it?"

Jovian:

    who? not CNJ:3s

Need some sample sentences? How about this:

His poor sexual services were, among others, the origins of her
wise decision to actively cut the relationship short. =)))
