When I started with Valdyan, I was using a typewriter older than myself (I'm from 1958 and I think the typewriter is from 1953) and I had no Valdyan script (thought I knew there was one, of course), so I made combinations like "lh" and "ch" (counting as one letter, like in Welsh) right away. I do wish there was an uncomplicated way to have "i-with-a-stroke" and "l-with-a-stroke" in ASCII, though, so I could revise the transcription now the script is working. I don't like to require people to use a special font to read my HTML - I'm of the school that thinks HTML is to make things easier for the *reader* even if that means extra effort for the *writer*.
