Dinner for me is always the last biggest meal of the day. It usually falls
around 5 pm here at home (sometimes later, but never past 8 pm). With
friends, dinner can happen any time from 6 pm (as it was tonight when i
went out to eat with them), to 8pm which was out usual time last semester
(we all had late classes and didnt get out til about 8 pm). My Grandmother
who is from Kansas always calls the meal in the late afternoon supper. I
dont think i've heard her call it dinner much. However, I usually take
supper to mean a light meal, even if it is at dinner time. Heavier meals
are most definately dinner for me.
For the other meals, breakfast can be at dinner :) (I call any meal
involving eggs, bacon or sausage, and toast a breakfast meal).I usually
don't eat breakfast in the morning (i can't stand to eat then......).
Lunch for me happens from 11 am til 2 or 3 pm.
