Unf, I don't think that'll work. This list has been hosted on several
different servers over its history.
I don't know the exact story, but the old-timers on the list should be able
to clear it up.
I know it was hosted at diku.dk before being hosted on at least one box
(maybe two sequentially?) at brown.edu All this shifting around has
naturally tended to break the flow in any given archive.
FWIW, Afaict, the earliest reliably dated message in the eGroups archive
indicates that the list was already well established by Christmas 1996...
*sigh*, *grumble*
Assuming at least one of the listfounders is still with us (or at least
traceable) I fear the best guide to the exact date will probably be human
memory... :-( Tal was the first to point out that the anniversary is
approaching, perhaps he has some clearer idea than 'some time soon'?
