Hi Ho. Of all the sites so far, this one most closely matches my speech
EXCEPT for the central vowels and my [A].
In the phrase I previously transcribed as [bi\t D@ 'bVt] "but the butt" --
what I gave as [bi\t] would have their "reversed e"; my [D@] would have
their @--OK; my [bVt] "butt" is closest to their [3], but a bit lower.
Certainly not the [V] in any sample.
So far I haven't found my "[A]" (rot, lot, pot) anywhere-- the [A] on all
sites sounds too far back and a bit rounded; the [6] is close but not low or
open enough IME; that IPA [a] doesn't exist in my dia/idiolect--unless I'm
imitating JFK/RFK, peace be upon them.
