Interestingly, in the Book of Darius, in those passages where he has not
been named, he is referred to by the inanimate pseudo-pronoun 'yametam'
(thing that exists). It is not entirely clear whether Darius is really a
sentient deity, or merely a force of nature. Whichevr the case is, a
religion has grown up around him, and one or two other such entities
(both Death and History has similar personae).

Demuan is the primary language on the magical world. Any attempts to ask
what the planet is called meet either with confusion or the word
'dialet' (home). The scientific world is our own Earth. It is not
perfectly clear how our science so far has failed to spot these other 3
planets, except that we haven't really been looking.
