That sounds familiar, but I can't place it. Describe, please. All I can
think of is the so-called Fruit Bat, AKA flying fox..They're quite large and
I can't imagine them as pets. Do you happen to know the Indonesian word for
them???
During WW II, my folks bought batches of chicks every spring, a mix of
Leghorns, RI Reds, Buff Orpingtons, which provided eggs and eventually lots
of dinners (though when our lovely Black maid left, no one else would kill
them, so we stopped). Anyhow my sister and I had names for lots of them, and
we definitely knew who was who........(Still, we ate them).
All my cats of course have names. No.4 was originally Davey (his brother is
Harley), but came to be called Horrible because he couldn't "just get
along". Recently added No. 5 (Leo) has taken the Horrible title away from
him, however.
