As for me, I regularly use {'} or {"} for primary stress indiscriminantly,
and {,} for secondary. Being a speaker of lgs that have lots of palatalized
consonants, I usu. tend to use {;} in Russian and Ukrainian examples, so I
would vote for both {;} and {_j} as valid options.
