First, I apologise for my prior post in response to this. I fully
misunderstood your point here.

If by chance you find a dictionary which clearly & easily identifies
linguistic terms, please let me know. My own gap-rife knowledge comes from
hundreds of personal hours spent over 30 years reading, referencing (woohoo!
now I can do that via the InterNet rather than via hours in a library) and
researching all those other terms used in the complex definitions. Knowledge
of any specialize fields is hard-won.
