For Verdurian, see http://www.zompist.com/kingdom.htm#Coinage . Briefly, the coins are orh "gold", orhula "gold-<diminutive>", fale "white", arzhentul "silver-<dim.>", emura "<name of the alloy of silver and tin used for the coin>", and stan "tin". So the coins are named for the metal or alloy they are made of (or their colour, in one case), and for their size where two coins are made of the same material.
