Re: Cases, again

BTW, we were told at school always to say for ex "Toi
et moi", "Lui et moi", etc, for reasons of politeness
("me" coming in 2nd place). Is it so in English too ?
I thought it was more common than in French to hear
"Me and you", "Me and the guys"...

(Anyway, it's totally impossible to say in French
"*Toi et je", "*lui et je*).

In Russian, there is a rather strange way to say "You
and me": "My s toboj", meaning "We with you".
