woman who not yet becomes my daughter's friend became ill.", for
instance.

That's good enough right there, since Klingon verbs encode aspect and
not tense, but if you want to explicitly indicate past time by putting
it into the "completed" aspect, you can:

ropchoHpu' wej puqbe'wI' jupbogh moj be''e' puqloD.
The son of the woman who not yet becomes my daughter's friend has become ill.
