	I agree with what you said. I just had to make it clear where
Portuguese stands on the issue, regarding usage and what grammar says. I
say this because as the way it had been put, it somehow seemed like the
Brazilian prescriptive grammar agreed with that construction ("o vejo"),
and it's not the case. So I found pertinent to clarify the subject. :)
