I'm slightly confused---what are those apostrophes? Stress markers? In the IPA (and derivatives such as CXS), the stress marker goes *before* the syllable. Logically though, it'd go *after* the syllable break (in fact, a stress marker implies a syllable break). So basically, do you mean: /s&'vi:/ or /'s&.vi:/? -- Tristan.
