Exactly as Tyl-Sjok does it, except that there is no zhe4/na4--wo3/ni3 correspondence, but there are five modifiers to the demonstrative: the three persons and near or far. So you'd say in Tyl-Sjok (I give the Chinese as well because it's so close to Tyl-Sjok's structure): Q: jo kaxi y at? wo3 shu1 zai4 na3? my book be-at which? Where's my book? A: Y jo ky. zai4 wo3 zhe4/na4. be-at my this/that. It's here (with me). or A: Y je ky. zai4 ni3 zhe4/na4. be-at you this/that. It's over there (with you). or A: Y ong ky. be-at far this/that. It's over there (somewhere far away). ... BTW: Isn't that na3li3 instead of na3li? My in-brain tone generator tells me to pronounce [na2li3] which then must be /na3li3/ instead of /na3li0/. :-)
