I also looked forwards to the recitation of the ring-poem, because i was
trying to remember it on the way to the theater and kept on mixing up all
the similar-sounding Black Speech (or "Morbeth" as we call in on
ElendorMUSH) verbs. One of the friends i went with made the comment that
the initial narration where they showed the 3 elves, 7 dwarves, and 9
humans taking up their rings should have just simply quoted the poem in
English instead of saying pretty much the same thing in a not-as-cool
way. However, if you listen carefully, during the Council of Elrond
scene where Gandalf is supposed to recite it, you can hear the ring
reading itself to Frodo.
