In re-reading the Tagalog article in the Concise Compendium of the World's
Languages (Campbell 1995) (Great for conlangers if you don't already have
it), I would interpret focus as another example of the now-broadly defined
relationships-shown-by-the-verb. But it is a rather unique example, thanks
for teaching me and bringing it to the attention of the group.
