I'd have to say an uneducated "yes". It was from briefly looking at a Chinese
lang (I forget which, I don't spose it matters) that I discovered the whole idea
of "instant" and "continuous" verbs that eventually wombled its way into
Wenetaic. I think they're (roughly equivalent to) perfect and and imperfect
aspect?
