I'm afraid I wouldn't call that dubious, and that is how I'm likely to
under (but I'd be more likely to write 'How many tables have you looked
under for my cat')

As does mine, except more frequently: both in strength, etc, and
student, etc, although the latter is really an English ch, but the
former is suttly different, I can't explain how, exactly. It flows
better, I guess.
