"verhuizen" means only "to move" as in "changing residence". It quite transparently comes from "huis": house and "ver-" which is often used as prefix from denominal transitive verbs (and other kinds of transitive verbs). Another example is "verplaatsen": to move (things from one place to the other" from "plaats": place.
