This might work (or not), and it is at least worth trying! I also had the idea more than once, but never suggested it here. We succeeded in getting rid of the auxlangers that way; however, that was easier because it weren't the same people. In this case (OT overflow on CONLANG), it is often the same people who discuss their conlangs, though I have the impression that the most notorious off-topic posters tend to be people who have little to contribute to conlang-related discussions. *Something* ought to be done about that.
