In Géarthnuns, the literal translation would be: Híauíalöms, chaur lü sö bödízçebsöt ven sho, lü fe bödízçeböpfanalögs nöi. everyone-nom/neg, who-nom transcendent a flute-acc. have clause-ender, transcendent a-neg flautist-nom/neg be. Something pithier and more proverbial might be: Vö bödízçekhs lün fe pfanalögs nöi. the-neg flute-nom/neg transcendent-causative a-neg flautist-nom/neg be More along the lines of "The flute does not a flautist make.", which tinkers with the meaning but sounds better to my Géarthnuns ear.
