I need to make a list. Do you have 200GB of space for it? ;)))
Seriously, the Maggel orthography is so remote from the pronunciation that
virtually every letter is an oddjobman there ;)) . There are rules, but
they are mostly there to confuse people into thinking that the rules are
actually followed ;))) .
And amazingly enough, you don't see that many orthographic variants or
spelling mistakes in Maggel. It must be because for the Pictics, spelling
Maggel correctly is a matter of honour, and bad spelling can mean become an
outcast ;))) . And it seems to work, as spelling mistakes are extremely
rare, except among children who are still learning to write :) . You can
imagine the contempt they have for the English who, despite their extremely
easy and phonetic script (remember, the Pictics use Maggel as a standard of
comparison ;) ) can't seem to be able to master it and keep making mistakes
at adult age ;)) .
