This orthography is made specifically to confuse me, isn't it? Everyone knows
that 'ö' and 'y' should denote [2] and [y], while [8] and [u\] are written
as 'u'!

The lesson, I guess, is that the Latin alphabet sucks for languages that don't
have the classical five vowel set, or some subset thereof.
