I use "iaf" regularly, and sometimes pronounce it as /jaf/. There's also
"iofs" /jofs/ for "i och för sig", which's hard to render in English. "Det
är iofs inte så snabbt men ..." "It isn't very fast but ..." perhaps can
give you an inkling what it means (Daniel, can you explain better?). "dvs",
"osv" "pga" and some others that're used even in formal(ish) contexts are of
course frequent in mail, and in "Chat Swedish" there's any number of odd
abbrevs ...

PS /jofs/ is also, at least among some nerdy people including me, used as an
"acknowledgitive": "(Yes,) that is so."
