I went to my "Cassell's German & English Dictionary" (1962). The word
is not listed, so I checked on the parts. _Gebrauch(s)_ was fairly
easy to handle. For _spurig_: adj. suffix, e.g., _schmal-ig,_ narrow
gauge (Railw.).
I think I need a new German-English dictionary. Any recommendations?
I sure hate giving it up though. I've got all the key words
memorized. The cover is falling off. But I've been using it for
decades, along with the companion volumes of Spanish, French, Latin &
Italian.
