Well, Swedes generally have no problem with the romantic view of
Gustavus Wasa as an honest and heroic "man of the people" whereas
he was in fact a high-ranking nobleman with a knack for manipula-
tion and dictatorial traits that would put him on a par with a
Stalin or a Saddam.
