Indeed. One of the main reasons for technical jargon is so people in the know can
communicate more quickly. Ideally, for every jargon, there's a lexicon
somewhere so someone who's interested in the topic can learn the jargon without
putting the technicians through the same spiel they've been through a dozen
times.
