An antique form is m(i)entre (I don't remember if the 'i' is there or not). But nowadays only 'mientras' is heard. I think I've seen once 'm(i)entre' in a piece of poetry dating from the 17th century or so. Not sure though. Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr
