I think it's supposed to be Rohirric, and thus, in the books, Old
English.  In that case, the pronunciation is pretty up for grabs. I
certainly have always pronounced it /aIzn=gard/, but I'm not an OE
scholar.
On a related note, how is 'á' supposed to be pronounced in Sindarin?  I
thought it was /e/, but it seems that that is how 'e' is pronounced.
Are they the same?
