Hehe! Actually, it's fairly close to Doug /dUg.g@/ with the last
syllable almost entirely swallowed. The other option, which I didn't use
because it sounds less close, is Dugh /du3/. But it looks very similar to a
Homer Simpson-ism, another reason I avoided it.

That seems to be the majority opinion, so that's what I'll do. maybe
I'll do theme weeks like Sesame Street:
"This week's vocab brought to you by the letter k (words that begin with
k in English), and the dative case!"
I can see Particle Monster, Cookie's cousin, already!
