Isn't the orthographical _f_ in Japanese an allophone of /h/ for after a rounded front vowel and in actual fact a bilabial fricative, and _v_ (a recently new sound added to spell some foreign words) the voiced version of that? Did these Japanese bilabials become labiodental in this interesting Japanese-German fusion? :) Imperative
