Sorry for the flood of followups, I'm posting at the speed of thought, which is
sometimes greater than the speed of common sense :-)  I also have work on the
brain, which doesn't help.  This should be the last one for now, as I *think*
I've tied down the more dangerous loose ends.

I wrote:

Erm, let me come back to that one, but you can probably see what the nesting
would start to look like.

The nesting would, in fact look a lot like this:

kunit, kator musip makhektap mortuprur phithpheryit, puroprup Yonus patopyis
phowepnge"e"t
dog.g3 cat.g4 mouse.g5 large.g6.cmp.g5 kill.g5.at.g4 saw.g4.to.g3 river.g5.at.g5
John.g2 poison.g5.to.g2 drink.g5.past.g3

Coincidentally, the gender numbers approximate the level of nesting, which is
(to me) aesthetically pleasing.

It also strikes me that the particle translated as .to. might be better off
translated as .from., but there's historical reasons for this, so there!
