"Thank", IIRC, is in origin a form of "think" so that's one possibility,
others would be "I am indebted", "I am honoured", or "May the gods bless
you".
There could multiple words depending on context, e.g. duty or beyond the
call of duty, reciprocal thank yous, relative status of the speakers,
formality of situation, stranger/friend/kin, etc.
